It is beautiful outside today. The sun is shining and the air is warm. It’s depressing to think that this is probably the last hurrah before misery. I digress. My main goal for today is to see if I can work out how to change categories.

I just finished reading a jr. high title referenced in an article about ghost stories. The Secret Life of Sparrow Delaney by Suzanne Harper is about a reluctant albeit gifted medium. Despite her determination to keep her skills to herself, she is compelled to help a teen’s ghost and his family resolve his loss. This could have been a dour and somber read, but Harper keeps the tone light and the family situations amusing.
