This is my attempt to feature one of my own pictures. This is not the Charleston Public Library. The Library Society was formed in 1748 and it was (and is) a membership library. The public library (photo to be posted later) is a larger, but sadly, less elegant building.

Historic Graveyard

This picture is of the graveyard at the First Presbyterian Church in my hometown of Elizabeth, N.J. This is where I first became interested in history (and graveyards!) It is located between the church and the colonial era school once attended by Alexander Hamilton and Aaron Burr. Hmmmm.
